US Dollar Sees Sharp Rise: The US dollar started Monday’s trading day valued at Rs287.50, while the interbank exchange rate increased noticeably by 47 paisas. The foreign currency increased in value by Re1 on the open market to Rs 289. At Rs287.55, the Dollar ended Monday’s trading session.

The US dollar strengthened against the local currency on Friday, the last day of trading, with an increase of 60 paisas in the interbank market. In the Interbank, the US dollar’s new price was Rs287.50.
